The lessons will progress as your skills accumulate, working at your own pace towards creating your own projects.
Along the way, Jo will introduce some interesting and unusual materials and share her ideas for using crochet in creative ways

Based in Melbourne, misterstiltskin produces unique fibre related products.
Hand spun and hand dyed yarn, dyed fibres, crafting tools and accessories.

A homespun artisan, Jo has woven together a professional career in the creative industries with a lifelong passion for fibre. Never far from a dye pot or a spinning wheel, her love of colour and commitment to the use of natural dyestuffs and fibres has turned a cottage industry into a thriving business.Jo is passionate about creativity and the benefits of working with textiles, particularly fibre arts.

About Kingston Creative Studios Inc

We are a not for profit centre offering creative workshops in craft, recycling, upcycling, use of tools, and creative business support and training.
Located at:
Melaleuca Activity Hub – 31 Melaleuca Drive, Clarinda, Victoria.
*Enter through the garden gate and into the world of creativity

What to bring

  • One 4mm crochet hook and 100 grams of 8 ply (DK) or 10 ply (worsted), natural fibre yarn (wool or cotton). (Yarn and hooks can also be purchased from misterstiltskin)
  • your imagination, a sense of fun and enthusiasm!
